Approvals

MVLA School district requires all adults to be approved to work with students. This process requires you to undergo a background screening, including fingerprint check and a mandatory training for Youth Protection.

Have you already been approved for MVLA?

To join the team at FIRST competitions you need to be registered in the FIRST Dashboard.

Have you signed up on FIRST TIMs for the current/upcoming season?

Consents

Note: This is not the same as the MVHS mailing list and if you are not on it you will miss important season related information.

May we release your contact information to other members of the team?

So that team members may contact each other, we make a list with names, emails, phone numbers, and address. This information will only be released to other members on the team. If you would rather that your contact information not be shared, please select "no" below.

We periodically send out newsletters to our team sponsors and to the school as well as post team updates on our team website. These will not be individual portraits but are usually as part of a group. We have videos of competitions and our Spartan Series videos which we post publicly and might include students in the videos. This permission also extends to these videos.
